And if all that isn't cute enough.....

And if everything in the last post has not convinced you that Nate is the cutest, smartest, most wonderful baby around (darn, he just knocked a pile of papers onto the floor) here is a bit of an update (as his knee lands in the cats water bowl).
We were at Aunt Laurie's house today and we were exploring. We crawled aaaallllll the way over to the stairs. Mommy said that since we don't have stairs at home, we don't know how to climb the stairs. Five seconds later we were already up one step. We climbed 3 steps in all, but because Aunt laurie didn't like the pictures we got the first time around, we had to climb those same three steps over and over and over and... well you get the point.
In any case, we taught ourselve how to climb stairs. Guess we will need to keep a better eye on him when we go visiting from now on.

Nate Update

Well, I haven't written in a while, and for those of you who are Nate news starved, here is your chance to eat your fill.
Nate has made a big step into the world of teeth. First tooth popped up about 2 weeks ago and the second one came a week after that. Hardly any fussing. Only 1 day of crying after the first tooth came in. He looks so cute with his little chompers.
Nate has also learned to share. He started this a few days ago. When drinking a bottle, or eating, or playing with a toy, he will offer some to us. If we take a bit, he thinks it is hillarious! First Ima fed babyNate, now babyNate feeds Ima!
We are starting to spend a lot of time outside, now that springis finally here. I want to start taking walks almost every day, if possible. Lets see how my resolve holds in July when its 90 degrees and humid.
Nate is cruising now, although he prefers the tried-and-true crawling. It gets him to where he is going faster than cirlcing the room on the furniture. He can also stand for breif spurts on his own. Whenever we see him try we clap and say "yay!" He gets so proud of himself. He knows he's done good.
Nate still fits ito his 6-9 months clothes. I am starting to get a bit worried about his lack of weight gain. We are going to the doctor tomorrow for a weight check (tomorrow is his 10 month birthday) and we will see what they say about his health.
The other Nate news of note actually has to do with a lack of Nate. Since we just set the clocks ahead, shabbos starts at 7:00 now. Since we don't get to sit down to eat dinner until after 8:00, and 8 is Nates bedtime, this means Ra'anan and i get to sit down at the table to a meal where we a) both get to eat at the same time b) don't have to get up half way through to put baby to bed and c0 can have adult conversation. I love my Nate dearly, but it was good to get a chance to be alone with Ra'anan, even for a few hours.
Thats all for now, and a certain insistant little child is crying for breakfast to come and pick him up, so I am gonna say bye-bye (with a cute little Nate-wave).
Bye Bye
